During Park(ing) Day citizens take a parking space in town and temporarily turn it into a public park of your creation! The mission of Park(ing) Day is to call attention to the need for more public space and improve the quality of human habitat! This year, West Chester, Phoenixville and Coatesville participated in the event.

We celebrated Park(ing) Day in West Chester at the NW corner of Walnut & Gay St. Free lemonade was provided by West Chester Kildare’s Irish Pub for passer-bys. Thanks to all our sponsors for helping to make this happen. . .
