Plenty of Moving Parts at the 40th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade

This year marks the 40th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade, slated to take place Friday, December 6, 2019. The abundance of holiday spirit, festive events, and family fun is set to turn heads.

Hosted by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and produced by parade masters at Under the Sun Productions, this year’s QVC West Chester Christmas Parade includes spectacular floats, giant inflatable character balloons, and dozens of performances. QVC returns as the parade’s title sponsor, and their enduring support will include attendance of long-time hosts Dan Hughes and Carolyn Gracie. The Key Financial Holiday Village will offer an enhanced experience for attendees to peruse local businesses and finish holiday shopping while entertaining children with extensive toys and activities. The US Air Force Jingle Elf Run, a walk/run event for all ages with prizes with prizes for best costumes and top finishers, will take place prior to parade kick-off. Immediately preceding the parade, volunteers will collect money donations benefitting West Chester’s local first responders in the second annual Fill the Stocking. Meanwhile, the month leading up to the parade, WSFS Bank collects toys to be donated to local children in need in the annual Christmas Toy Drive.

“There’s always a lot of moving parts to the Christmas parade, and the 40th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade is no different,” said Chamber President, Mark Yoder. “It is a welcome challenge, as we know the parade brings over 40,000 people to our small town every year. We say it year after year, but I really think the 40th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade will be our best work yet.”
