West Chester University’s Dr. Susan Fiorentino to Speak at Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Roundtable
Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Dr. Susan Fiorentino, Associate Professor in the Management Department at West Chester University and co-president of the Chester County Women’s Association, will speak at this month’s Women’s Roundtable on Thursday, January 30 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Sponsored by Miles Financial Management, Inc., Women’s Roundtable is both a social and an educational event for women hosted by Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. Attendees gather to listen and connect with some of the most powerful female speakers in the Chester County region in an intimate setting over dinner and wine. Typically held in new locations throughout the year, January’s Women’s Roundtable will take place at the Philips Autograph Library in Philips Memorial Hall on West Chester University’s campus.
This month’s discussion topic is “Defining Women’s Leadership in the New Decade”, a topic near and dear to Dr. Fiorentino’s heart.
“I’ve held various leadership roles both at the university and in the greater West Chester community,” said Dr. Fiorentino. “I’ve also had a unique leadership experience as a presidential spouse of West Chester University, which has afforded me the opportunity to interact with the community in very special ways. I want to emphasize the importance of engaging young women as leaders, as well as the necessity and relevance of developing mentor relationships for women of all ages. I’m very excited to be this month’s Women’s Roundtable speaker.”
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Fiorentino speak at our Women’s Roundtable this January,” said Mark Yoder, president and CEO of Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. “She brings a unique perspective on leadership and young women, and we are happy to further our relationship with West Chester University and its students.”
Women’s Roundtable attendees are invited for a meet and greet and light networking from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The Women’s Roundtable discussion with Dr. Fiorentino will take place from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and attendees are invited to stay for more networking from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
